Consumer Price Index. 07/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.3% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in July 2025. All groups showed positive rates of change, except transport (−0.5%). The groups with the highest inflation were housing (5.1%), hotels, cafés and restaurants (3.9%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.7%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.0% in Catalonia.
