Statistics on Foreign Tourism Expenditure. 07/2025

The total expenditure made by foreign tourists whose main destination was Catalonia stood at 3,288 million euros in July 2025, which represents a increase of 5.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

By country of habitual residence, France, the United States and United Kingdom and stood out with a total expenditure of 383, 326 and 299 million euros, a figure that represented a year-over-year variation of −0.2%, 6.4% and −15.7%, respectively.

The average daily expenditure per person was 229 euros, which represented a year-over-year increase of 4.3%. The main expenditure items correspond to expenditure on accommodation (842 million euros) and expenditure on international transport that is not included in the tourist package (752 million euros).
