Statistics on Foreign Tourism. 07/2025

The number of foreign tourists who arrived in Catalonia in July 2025 stood at 2.4 million, a figure that represents a year-over-year decrease of 1.2%. By country of habitual residence, the countries from which the majority of tourists came from were France, United Kingdom and Netherlands, with 421.7, 212.0 and 205.0 thousand tourists, respectively.

On the other hand, by reason for traveling, leisure trips, business trips and trips for other reasons (health, studies, family...) have a tourist influx of 2.2 million, 107.4 and 86.1 thousand tourists, respectively.

As for the principal type of accommodation, hotels and similar have an influx of 1.8 million tourists.
