Consumer Price Index. 08/2025

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.4% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in August 2025. All groups showed positive rates of change. The groups with the highest inflation were housing (4.5%), hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.2%) and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.8%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.1% in Catalonia.
