The number of trips to Catalonia by residents of the rest of Spain increased 8.0% year-over-year in the second quarter of 2025, which meant a total of 1.6 million trips, 6.2 million overnight stays, an average stay of 4.0 nights, and an expenditure of 634 million euros.

The expenditure on trips to Catalonia of residents in the rest of Spain in the second quarter of 2025 was 405 euros per person, a figure that represents a decrease of 5.8% above the second quarter of 2024, the equivalent to a daily expenditure of 101 euros, which decreased 8.6%.

The Easter effect must be considered, given that this year it was celebrated in April and in 2024 it was celebrated in March.
