Idescat participates in the international meeting of experts carried out by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in 2025

Idescat participates in the opening ceremony of the international meeting of experts on statistical data confidentiality, held with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The meeting is taking place in Barcelona from 15 to 17 October 2025, at the Poblenou Campus of Pompeu Fabra University.

This meeting, organized by Rovira i Virgili University through the INCIBE-URV Cybersecurity Chair 1 and with financial support from the Next Generation EU funds, aims to identify innovative approaches and best practices in statistical data confidentiality (SDC), and to provide a platform for practitioners to exchange experiences and foster collaboration in this area. The target audience for the expert meeting includes experts from national and international statistical offices as well as academics dealing with statistical disclosure limitation.
