Statistics and Accounts of the ICT Companies. 2023

The turnover of the ICT sector in Catalonia was 27,477 million euros in 2023, a figure that shows a 12.1% increase compared to the year before. The sector generated a gross added value of 10,712 million euros (12.7% more than in 2022) and employed 140,450 people, meaning an increase of 5.3%.

By activities, those that generated the highest turnover belong to the services sector: IT services, Wholesale trade of ICT equipment and Telecommunications. The 3 of them represented 91.0% of service ICT activities and 86.0% of total ICT activities.
