Statistics on Rural Tourism Accommodation Activity. Q3/2025

The number of overnight stays in rural tourism establishments in Catalonia increased by a year-over-year 6.5% in the third quarter of 2025, according to provisional data from the Rural Tourist Accommodation Occupancy Survey.

By country of origin, the number of overnight stays of domestic tourists grew by 5.1% (Catalan tourism increased by 4.8% and that proceeding from the rest of Spain by 8.2%) and foreign tourism increased by 9.0%.

On the other hand, the number of travellers registered in rural tourism establishments grew by a year-over-year 1.2%.
