Foreign Trade according to Technological Content. Q3/2025

Catalonia exported industrial products worth 22,797.9 million euros in the third quarter of 2025, representing an increase of 2.0% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. All groups of industrial products according to effort in research and development (R&D) showed that sales of industrial products abroad increased at all technological levels, except for those at the medium-low level, which decreased by 6.6%. High-tech products increased by 2.1%, medium-high level products by 2.2%, and low-level products by 5.9%.

Catalonia imported industrial products worth 25,531.8 million euros in the third quarter of 2025, representing an increase of 5.8% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Foreign purchases showed increases at all technology levels: 6.1% in high-tech content, 7.4% medium high-level, 3.3% in medium low-level, and 4.5% in low-tech.
