Tourism of Residents in Catalonia. Q3/2025

The number of trips made by Catalans increased 0.5% year–over–year in the third quarter 2025. People residing in Catalonia made 9.9 million trips, involving 63.6 million overnight stays, an average stay of 6.4 nights, and an expenditure of 4,677 million euros.

The expenditure of Catalans on trips in the first quarter came to 471 euros per person, which represents an increase of 12.3% in comparison with the third quarter of 2024, and an expenditure of 74 euros per day, with represents an increased of 14.8%.

The number of day trips made by people residing in Catalonia stood at 10.1 million in the third quarter of 2025, 16.5% more than in the same quarter of the previous year.
