The number of trips to Catalonia by residents of the rest of Spain increased 16.5% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2025, which meant a total of 2.0 million trips, 10.9 million overnight stays, an average stay of 5.5 nights, and an expenditure of 930 million euros.

The expenditure on trips to Catalonia of residents in the rest of Spain in the third quarter of 2025 was 471 euros per person, a figure that represents a decrease of 5.6% above the third quarter of 2024, the equivalent to a daily expenditure of 86 euros, which increased 1.2%.
