Statistics on Foreign Tourism. 11/2024

The number of foreign tourists who arrived in Catalonia in November 2025 stood at 1.3 million, a figure that represents a year-over-year increase of 0.9%.

By country of habitual residence, the countries from which the majority of tourists came from were France, Italy and the United States, with 203.7, 126.7 and 125.9 thousand tourists, respectively. This figures represent a year-over-year variation of −27.4%, 9.2% and 44.2%, respectively.

On the other hand, by reason for traveling, leisure trips, trips for other reasons (health, studies, family...) and business trips had a tourist influx of 971.1, 179.3 and 123.3 thousand tourists, respectively.

As for the principal type of accommodation, hotels and similar had an influx of 767.3 thousand tourists.
