Industrial Production Index. 11/2025

The Industrial Production Index adjusted by working days (base=100) increased by 0.9% year-over-year in Catalonia in November 2025. By large industrial sectors, there was an increased in energy by 9.3% and intermediate goods by 4.8%; on the other hand, consumer goods decreased by 2.9% and capital goods by 2.1%.

In November 2025, the Industrial Products Index (which does not include energy and is not adjusted by working days) remained stable compared to the same month of the previous year (0.0%) and the Industrial Production Index (which includes energy) grew by 0.9%. By large industrial sectors, energy increased (9.4%) and intermediate goods (4.8%), while consumer goods (−3.0%) and capital goods (−2.1%) decreased.

Finally, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases were registered in the manufacture of machinery and mechanical equipment (8.3%) and in the chemical industries (6.0%); on the other hand, the most notable decreases were recorded in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products (−6.5%) and in the manufacture of transport material (−5.2%).
