Idescat takes part in the Meeting of producers and users of real estate statistics

Idescat is taking part in the Meeting of producers and users of real estate statistics, which will be held in Madrid on 21 and 22 January. The event is organised by the National Statistics Institute, the Pompeu Fabra University and the Ramón Areces Foundation.

Specifically, Idescat will participate on Thursday 22 with the presentation “Population and households in Catalonia. Present and future”, as part of Session 7, which is devoted to the measurement of housing demand.

The aim of this Meeting is to examine the possibilities and potential of the available demographic indicators for identifying trends in the residential real estate market, as well as to explore ways to improve the quality, comparability and accessibility of these indicators.
