The value of exports of Catalonia was 8,467.0 M€ in November 2025, a figure that represents a year-over-year decrease of 2.0%. Imports, with a value of 9,702.7 M€, increased by 2.6%.

As for exports by economic destination, intermediate goods decreased by 4.4%; on the other hand, capital goods increased by 4.4% and consumer goods by 0.3%. By geographical area, they decreased to America by 26.0%, to other countries and territories of Europe (not belonging to the EU) by 3.0% and to the European Union by 2.2%; on the other hand, sales to Asia increased by 24.8% and to the rest of the world by 13.8%.

By branches of economic activity, sales of energy products, oil extraction and refining (−27.5%; −81.1 M€), textiles, clothing, leather and footwear (−9.7%; −58.3 M€) and chemical industries (−6.4%; −161.2 M€), machinery and mechanical equipment (−6.1%; −29.3 M€) and motor vehicles and other transport materials (−3.0%; −40.2 M€) decreased. On the other hand, the growth in sales of electrical and electronic equipment (15.6%; 92.3 M€) stood out.

As for imports by economic destination, consumer goods increased by 18.0% and capital goods by 6.6%; on the other hand, intermediate goods decreased by 5.6%. By geographical area, purchases in other European countries and territories (non-EU) decreased by 12.8% and in America by 7.6%; on the other hand, they grew in the European Union by 4.1%, in Asia by 2.6% and in the rest of the world by 28.5%.

By branches of economic activity, the growth in purchases of motor vehicles and other transport equipment stood out (36.2%; 478.1 M€). On the other hand, the decrease in purchases of chemical industries (−19.6%; −392.1 M€) and energy products, oil extraction and refining (−9.1%; − 73.2 M€) stood out.
