Maps of the census tracts of Catalonia. 2025

Idescat, together with the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC), publishes the territorial boundaries (geometry) of the census tracts of Catalonia in Shapefile and WMS formats, corresponding to the year 2025 ( with reference date as of 1 January 2025).

The geometry of the census tracts is the cartographic representation of the census tract partitions corresponding to the reference dates of the Municipal Population Register (from 1 January 2002 to 1 January 1) and the Population Census (from 1 January 2021 onwards).

The 2025 census tract layer can be viewed in section Census tracts of territorial and entity codes of the Idescat webside and in the ICGC Cartographic Viewer .
