Consumer Price Index. 02/2026

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) (base 2025=100) increased by 2.0% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in February 2026. All groups showed positive rates of change, except transport (−0.4%) and clothing and footwear (−0.3%). The most inflationary groups are insurance and financial services (4.6%), restaurants and accommodation services (4.4%) and personal care, social protection and miscellaneous goods and services (4.1%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.3% in Catalonia.
