Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Turnover Index. 01/2026

The Turnover Index in Service Sector increased by 2.0% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in January 2026. By activity sectors, trade increased by 0.8% and the other services, this is to say, non-commercial sectors, by 4.0%. Within these other services, it is worth noting the increases of information and communications (13.2%) and accommodation and food service activities (10.4%); and on the other hand, transport and storage (−0.6%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (−0.1%) decreased.
