Consumer Price Index. 03/2026

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) (base 2025=100) increased by 3.1% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in March 2026. All groups showed positive rates of change. The most inflationary groups are insurance and financial services (4.9%), transport (4.4%) and alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics as well as restaurants and accommodation services (4.1% both).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.7% in Catalonia.
