Consumer Price Index. 04/2026

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) (base 2025=100) increased by 3.0% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in April 2026. All groups showed positive rates of change. The most inflationary groups are insurance and financial services (5.5%), transport (5.2%), alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics (4.5%), and restaurants and accommodation services (4.3%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 2.6% in Catalonia.
