The employed population is estimated to reach 4,010.4 thousand people in May, a value representing a monthly increase of 2.3% and a year-over-year increase of 1.1%. The estimate for the employment rate in May would be 57.3%.

As for the economically active population, it is estimated to stand at 4,427.9 thousand people in May, a figure representing a monthly increase of 1.7% and a year-over-year increase of 2.7%. This value would place the activity rate at 63.2% in May.
