Idescat is participating in the 32nd International Input-Output Association Conference and the 11th SHAIO Conference

Idescat is participating in the first joint edition of the 32nd International Input-Output Association (IIOA) Conference and the 11th Hispanic-American Input-Output Society (SHAIO) Conference, taking place from 22 to 26 June 2026 in Seville. This meeting is one of the leading international forums for debate and knowledge exchange in the field of economics and input-output analysis.

Within the framework of these conferences, on Tuesday 23 June, the 5th Meeting of Official Statistics will be held at the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville), an initiative aimed at sharing experiences and projects developed by official statistics bodies. Idescat is participating with two presentation:

  • "Estimación del stock de capital por sectores de la economía catalana", elaborated by Alex Costa, Josep Lluís Raymond, Sergio Álvarez and Sergio Plaza.
  • "La tabla simétrica de la economía catalana en el contexto del Marco input-output 2021", elaborated by Jonatan Jorba, Jesús Muñoz, Sergio Plaza and Arístides Gutiérrez.
