The unemployed population would be 411.2 thousand people in June this year, according to the Monthly Estimate of the Economically Active Population, a figure representing a decrease of 1.5% in relation to May and an increase of 21.0% in relation to June 2025. This value would place the unemployment rate for June at 9.3%.

The employed population is estimated to reach 4,020.5 thousand people in June, a value representing a monthly increase of 0.3% and a year-over-year increase of 1.7%. The estimate for the employment rate in June would be 57.3%.

As for the economically active population, it is estimated to stand at 4,431.7 thousand people in June, a figure representing a monthly increase of 0.1% and a year-over-year increase of 3.2%. This value would place the activity rate at 63.2% in June.
