Statistics on Foreign Tourism Expenditure. 06/2026

The total expenditure made by foreign tourists whose main destination was Catalonia stood at 2,726 million euros in June 2026, which represents an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.

By country of habitual residence, the United States, the United Kingdom and France stood out with a total expenditure of 487, 382 and 232 million euros, a figure that represented a year-over-year variation of 4.2%, 19.9% and 2.4%, respectively.

The average daily expenditure per person was 267 euros, which represented a year-over-year increase of 6.4%. The main expenditure items correspond to expenditure on international transport that is not included in the tourist package (722 million euros) and expenditure on accommodation (556 million euros).
