Consumer Price Index. 07/2026

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) (base 2025=100) increased by 3.5% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in July 2026. All groups showed positive rates of change, except clothing and footwear (−1.7%). The most inflationary groups were restaurants and accommodation services (5.2%), transport (5.1%) and housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (5.0%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was 3.0% and non-core inflation (unprocessed food and energy products) was 6.4%.
