Statistics on Foreign Tourism. 07/2026

The number of foreign tourists who arrived in Catalonia in July 2026 stood at 2.4 million, a figure that represents a year-over-year increase of 0.8%.

By country of habitual residence, the countries from which the majority of tourists came were France and the United Kingdom, with 458.1 and 252.2 thousand tourists, respectively. These figures represent a year-over-year variation of 7.6% and 19.9%, respectively.

On the other hand, by reason for travelling, leisure trips, business trips and trips for other reasons (health, studies, family...) had a tourist influx of 2.2 million, 86.4 and 65.6 thousand tourists, respectively.

As for the principal type of accommodation, hotels and similar had an influx of 1.9 million tourists.
