Idescat participates in the XLII National Conference on Statistics, Operations Research and Data Science

Idescat participates in the sessions of the XLII National Conference on Statistics, Operations Research and Data Science organised by the Society on Statistics, Operations Research and Data Science (SEIO) in Santiago de Compostela, from 2 to 5 September 2026. Specifically, Idescat is participating with the following five presentations:

  • "Mensualización y predicción de las series de la población activa"
  • " Desagregación trimestral de la renta bruta de los hogares y evolución temporal de su capacidad adquisitiva"
  • "Del Servicio de Atención a la Investigación (SAI) a la futura Oficina Datalab: la experiencia del Idescat"
  • "Construcción de un indicador sintético de vulnerabilidad para áreas pequeñas de Cataluña"
  • "La inteligencia artificial en la difusión de estadísticas oficiales"

The Conference, which is national in scope, is organised by the SEIO and, in this edition, also by the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is a professional forum for scientific and technical exchange, open to society and business, where academics, researchers and professionals in statistics, operations research and data science can exchange ideas and experiences in all areas of the three disciplines.
