Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Indexes of Production and Turnover. Q2/2026

The Production Index in the Service Sector (IPROSS) increased by 6.3% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in the second quarter of 2026. Furthermore, the Turnover Index (IASSVN) also shows an increase of 6.7% compared to a year ago, as trade increased by 6.9% and other services (that is, non-commercial services) by 6.3%. Within the other services, all sectors increased, and the most significant increases were recorded in information and communication activities by 9.7%, in transportation and storage by 7.9%, and in accommodation and food service activities by 7.0%.
