Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Turnover Index. 07/2026

The calendar and seasonally adjusted Service Sector Turnover Index increased by 5.2% year over year in Catalonia in July 2026. In monthly terms, compared to June 2026, the Index remained virtually stable (−0.1%).

By activity sectors, trade grew by 3.8% and other services (that is, services excluding trade) by 7.1%. Within these other services, all sectors increased in year-over-year terms, with notable increases in the transport and storage sector (8.1%), the sector of information and communications, and the sector of administrative and support service activities (7.6% both).
