Idescat has been invited to the conference day "Cultivating Data. The Agri-food, Rural and Environmental Observatory"
Idescat is taking part in the conference day “Cultivating Data. The Agri-food, Rural and Environmental Observatory”, organised by the Catalan Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food (MALFF). The event is taking place today, Wednesday 7 October, at the Campus Nord of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

As part of the event, Cristina Rovira, Deputy Director General for Statistical Production at Idescat, is participating in the round-table discussion on access to information and the value of data, alongside representatives from Eurostat, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and the Barcelona School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering.
The event aims to provide a forum for debate on access to information, the value of data, and transparency as sector’s key challenges. It will also feature the presentation of the Agri-food, Rural and Environmental Observatory, a MALFF tool that makes data available to the sector to facilitate consultation and analysis and thus support decision-making.
