Consumer Price Index. 09/2026

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) (base 2025=100) increased by 4.5% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in September 2026. All groups showed positive rates of change. The most inflationary groups were transport (8.7%), housing (6.6%) and restaurants and accommodation services (5.3%).

In this period, core inflation (general index excluding unprocessed food and energy products) was 3.0% and non-core inflation (unprocessed food and energy products) was 13.6%.
