Statistics on Campsite Activity. Q3/2026

The number of overnight stays at campsites in Catalonia decreased by 3.4% year over year in the third quarter of 2026, according to provisional data from the Campsite Occupancy Survey.

As to the origins of such tourism, domestic campers grew by 1.0%: tourism from Catalonia increased by 5.0% and tourism from the rest of Spain decreased by 12.9%. Regarding foreign tourism, it decreased by 6.8%. Furthermore, the year-over-year figures for the number of travellers registered at campsites increased by 3.8%.
