SORT: statistics and operations research transactions

Statistics and Operations Research Transactions (SORT) is an international twice-yearly journal published by Idescat since 2003. Published entirely in English, it is co-edited by the Technical University of Catalonia, the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Girona, the Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Lleida and the Rovira i Virgili University, in collaboration with the Spanish Region of the International Biometry Society and the Catalan Statistical Society. SORT encourages the publication of original articles on applied statistics and statistical methodology, operations research, official statistics and biometrics. SORT represents the third series of the Quaderns d'Estadística i Investigació Operativa (Qüestiió), published by Idescat since 1992. SORT is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded and the Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics) and has had an impact factor since the year 2009.
