Projeccions de població en edat escolar 2016-2026
This document makes an evaluation of the results of the population projections that Idescat offers from 0 to 20 years range. The scenario is determined from the three available options, selecting that which best reflects the recent demographic evolution of the school age population in each of the territories for which population projections are provided (Catalonia, areas of the Territorial Plan, provinces, counties and Aran, and the municipality of Barcelona). Offered as a result, for each territory, is a single scenario for the school age population.
The School-Age Population Projections are disaggretaded by sex and simple age, between 0 and 20 years, and also by ages grouped according to education cycles (from 0 to 2 years, from 3 to 5 years, from 6 to 11 years, from 12 to 15 years, from 16 to 17 years and from 18 to 20 years).
