The general retail trade index excluding service stations at constant prices, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 4.1% year over year in Catalonia in May 2026.

Idescat is participating today, Monday 29 June, in the event organised by the Barcelona Provincial Council to mark the 30th anniversary of the Hermes territorial information system.

The number of trips made by Catalans decreased 7.6% year–over–year in the first quarter 2026, which means a total of 5.5 milion trips.

The number of trips in Catalonia of residents of the rest of the State decreased 13.2% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2026, which meant a total of 963.7 thousend trips.
