Idescat presents information on the names of the newborn children of mothers residing in Catalonia. This information can be obtained for the whole of Catalonia, by provinces, by areas of the Territorial Plan and by counties and Aran, and also by sex and year of birth.
The information on the names of the newborn children comes from the statistical bulletin which must be completed by the parents when they register the birth of their child in the Civil Registry.
