Organisational structure of Idescat

Idescat is structured into the following Deputy Directorates General beneath the office of Director, which are organised according to different functional areas and one service.

Deputy Directorate General of Production and Coordination

In charge of gathering statistics that pertain to Idescat, as well as the technical coordination of statistics-related activities with the institutions forming part of the Statistics System of Catalonia.

Deputy Directorate General of Information and Communication

Responsible for promoting the results of the statistical activity and ensuring their dissemination and accessibility, as well as writing summaries and reports, managing technological systems and resources for data and communication, and developing the necessary databases for gathering, processing and promoting the statistics.

Deputy Directorate General of Administration and General Services

In charge of supervising and coordinating the economic management and the budget, fostering human resources policies and administering resources, as well as managing legal services and information security.
