Large Store Sales Index. 03/2023

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 8.7% in March 2023 compared to the same month of 2022. By product group, food sales have increased by 6.8% and sales of the rest of the products by 10.9%.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the index showed a year-over-year increase of 4.5%. By product group, sales of food products decreased by 6.2%, while those of non-food products increased by 17.7%.
