Large Store Sales Index. 04/2023

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 4.2% in April 2023 compared to the same month of 2022. By product group, food sales increased by 7.9% and sales of other products remained practically stable (0.1%).

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index registered a year-over-year variation of 0.1%. By product group, sales of food products decreased by 3.5%, while sales of other products increased by 4.1%.
