Large Store Sales Index. 05/2023

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 5.8% in May 2023 compared to the same month of 2022. By product group, food sales increased by 10.5% and sales of other products by 1.3%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index registered a year-over-year variation of 1.9%. By product group, sales of food products decreased by 0.6%, while sales of other products increased by 5.2%.
