Indicators of Service Sector Activity. Indexes of Production and Turnover. Q2/2023

The Production Index in the Service Sector (IPROSS) (base 2015=100) decreased by 3.9% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in the second quarter of 2023. Furthermore, the Turnover Index (IASSVN) showed an increase of 1.6% compared to a year ago, since trade decreased by 0,2% but the other services (this is to say, all except for trade) increased by 4.7%. Within the other services, the most significant increases were in professional, scientific and technical activities (12.9%) and in information and communications services (6.9%).
