Exports decreased by a year-over-year 3.2% and imports by 0.4% in Catalonia in November 2024.

By economic destination, exports of all goods decreased: those of consumer goods by 5.4%, those of capital goods by 1.6% and those of intermediate goods by 1.6%. By geographical area, sales decreased notably in European Union with 7.1% and in other countries of Europe with 6.1%; on the other hand, sales increased notably in Central and South America with 18.5%.

Regarding imports by economic destination, imports of consumer goods decreased by 5.3%; while those of capital increased by 7.4% and those of intermediates by 1.2%. By geographical areas, the decreases in purchases in the European Union stand out by 1.4% and in the rest of the world by 7.6%, while purchases increased notably in North America with 49.5% and in Central and South America with 36.4%.
