Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 12/2024 and year 2024. Provisional data

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 3.5% in Catalonia in December 2024 and stood at 114.39 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Val d’Aran, Barcelona and Costa Daurada showed the highest values (160.08, 128.15 and 110.96 euros, respectively). On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 3.3% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 60.59 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.

In 2024, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) increased by 6.5% in comparison with 2023 and stood at 131.26 euros. Moreover, Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) increased by 8.3% and stood at 93.90 euros, according to provisional data.
