Large Store Sales Index. 01/2025

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 1.7% in January 2025 compared to the same month of 2024. By product group, the increase is mainly due to food products,which have grown by 2.6%, while for the rest of the products the increase has been less intense, by 0.9%.

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index decreased by 1.5% year-over-year. Food sales remained stable (0.0%), while sales of other products decreased by 3.0%.
