Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 03/2025

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 18.2% in Catalonia in March 2025 and stood at 140.55 euros. As far as tourism brands are concerned, Barcelona, Val d'Aran and Costa Barcelona showed the highest values (177.67 euros, 152.93 euros and 90.69 euros, respectively), with positive variation rates of 20.8%, 18.2% and 11.6%, respectively.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 21.8% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 90.33 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.

It is worth noting that this year the Mobile World Congress took place in March and not in February as last year.
