Exports increased by 0.1% year-over-year in Catalonia in February 2025 and imports by 5.0%.

Regarding exports by economic destination, exports of capital goods grew by 10.2% and of intermediate goods by 4.2%; on the other hand, consumer goods decreased by 6.2%. By geographical areas, sales increased in Central and South America by 17.6%, in the rest of the world by 17.0% and in North America by 15.0%; on the other hand, sales decreased in other countries and territories of Europe (non-EU countries) by 5.9% ​​and in the European Union by 4.6%.

Regarding imports by economic destination, imports of consumer goods increased by 16.4% and of capital goods by 7.8%; on the other hand, imports of intermediate goods decreased by 0.8%. By geographical areas, purchases in Central and South America increased by 49.2%, in the rest of the world by 14.2%, in North America by 7.0% and in other countries and territories of Europe (non-EU countries) by 0.4%; on the other hand, purchases in the European Union decreased by 0.5%.
