Retail Trade Index. 05/2025

The General Retail Trade Index (ICD) without service stations, at current prices, increased by 5.4% year-over-year basis in Catalonia in May 2025. By product type and activity, food increased by 5.6% and the rest of products by 5.2%. During the same period, the General Retail Trade Index with service stations, at current prices, increased by 4.9% compared to one year ago.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the retail trade index without service stations increased by 4.3% year-over-year.
