The number of trips to Catalonia by residents of the rest of Spain decreased 4.3% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2025, which meant a total of 1.1 million trips, 4.2 million overnight stays, an average stay of 3.8 nights, and an expenditure of 466 million euros.

The expenditure on trips to Catalonia of residents in the rest of Spain in the first quarter of 2025 was 419 euros per person, a figure that represents a decrease of 5.6% above the first quarter of 2024, the equivalent to a daily expenditure of 110 euros, which increased 3.2%.

The Easter effect must be considered, given that this year it was celebrated in April and in 2024 it was celebrated in March.
