Industrial Price Index. 06/2025

The industrial products price index (base 2021=100), which does not include energy, increased by 1.1% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in June 2025.

During the same period the industrial price index (which includes energy) increased by 0.9% compared with the same month of the previous year. By large industrial sectors, prices of consumer goods increased by 3.0% and those of capital goods by 1.2%; on the other hand, those of intermediate goods decreased by 1.1% and energy prices by 0.2%.

Moreover, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases in prices were registered in industries of food products (3.2%) and in manufacture of pharmaceutical products (3.0%). By contrast, the most significant decreases in prices were registered in chemical industries (−3.0%) and in metallurgy, manufacture of basic iron, steel and ferroalloy products (−2.9%)
