Industrial Price Index. 07/2025

The industrial products price index (base 2021=100), which does not include energy, increased by 1.1% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in July 2025.

During the same period the industrial price index (which includes energy) increased by 1.0% compared with the same month of the previous year. By large industrial sectors, prices of consumer goods increased by 3.0%, those of capital goods by 1.5% and energy prices by 0.3%; on the other hand, those of intermediate goods decreased by 1.3%.

Moreover, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases in prices were registered in manufacture of pharmaceutical products and in manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (3.0%, both). By contrast, the most significant decreases in prices were registered in metallurgy, manufacture of basic iron, steel and ferroalloy products (−5.0%) and in chemical industries (−2.8%) .
